There are as many designs of bathroom as there are people.
Full bathrooms are generally understood to contain a bath, a shower (or both), plus a toilet and a sink. Whilst en suite bathrooms or en suite shower rooms are attached to, and only accessible from, one of the bedrooms.
Family bathrooms (in British estate agent terminology) are full bathrooms which are not attached to a bedroom, but instead have a door opening onto a hallway or corridor.
Jack & Jill bathrooms (aka connected bathrooms) are situated between – and usually shared by – the occupants of two separate bedrooms. They often contain two wash basins.
Wetrooms are waterproof rooms usually equipped with a shower. They are designed to eliminate moisture damage and can be made compatible with underfloor heating systems.
